Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026. This policy covers the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible for your data
Fractional Academy Asia is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Company registration details will be published here on incorporation.
For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights below, write to support@fractionalacademy.asia. That address reaches the person responsible for data protection matters and is our designated contact for the purposes of the PDPA.
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect through fractionalacademy.asia — including the readiness quiz, our enquiry and enrolment-interest forms, our emails, our blog and our learning platform — how we use it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.
3. What we collect
- Identity and contact — name, email address, and where you provide it, your organisation and role. You give this to us in a form.
- Assessment responses — your answers to the readiness quiz, the score calculated from them, your executive function, and your stated timeline and obstacles.
- Enrolment interest — the tier you reserved and when.
- Purchase data — what you bought, when, at what price, and your payment status. We never see or store your full card details; those go directly to our payment processor.
- Learning data — lessons viewed, progress, completion, certificate issuance, community posts.
- Communications — emails you send us, and whether you opened or clicked our emails.
- Attribution data — which advertisement, video, campaign or page brought you to us, recorded from the campaign tags in the link you clicked.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP.
We do not deliberately collect sensitive personal data. Please do not include health information, financial account details, government identification numbers or details of other people in free-text fields or emails to us.
4. Why we use it, and on what basis
- To score your quiz and send the personalised readiness report you asked for — performance of a contract or your request (GDPR); consent given when you submitted the quiz (PDPA).
- To deliver the programme you purchased, including access, progress and certificates — performance of a contract.
- To send you educational and marketing emails — consent, withdrawable at any time.
- To provide support and answer enquiries — legitimate interests or contract.
- To understand which content and advertising works — legitimate interests, and consent where cookies require it.
- To improve the programme and the site — legitimate interests.
- To meet accounting, tax and legal obligations — legal obligation.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, including account sharing — legitimate interests.
Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully beforehand, and we may still need to contact you about a programme you have purchased.
5. Marketing emails
If you complete the quiz or reserve a place, we will send you a sequence of educational emails about fractional work and the programme. Every one carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all marketing email from us. Transactional messages — receipts, access details, certificates, service notices — are not marketing and will continue while you are a member.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes above:
- Kajabi (United States) — website, course delivery, member accounts, email sending, forms.
- Tally (European Union) — hosts the readiness quiz.
- Google (Analytics, Ads, YouTube; United States and global) — site analytics and advertising measurement.
- Zoho Mail — our business email.
- Our payment processor — takes payment and handles card data; we receive only the transaction result, never the card number. Disclosed at checkout.
We may also disclose personal data where we are legally required to, to establish or defend legal claims, or to a successor entity in connection with a reorganisation or sale of the business.
7. International transfers
Because our providers operate internationally, your data may be processed outside Singapore and outside the European Economic Area, principally in the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent lawful transfer mechanism, and we take reasonable steps to ensure a comparable standard of protection to that required by the PDPA and, where it applies, the GDPR.
8. How long we keep it
- Quiz responses and lead records — up to 3 years from your last engagement with us, then deleted or anonymised.
- Member and learning records — for the duration of your access, plus 3 years.
- Transaction and accounting records — 7 years, or as required by applicable law.
- Marketing consent and unsubscribe records — as long as necessary to honour your preference.
9. Security
We use reputable platforms that encrypt data in transit, restrict administrative access to the people who need it, and protect accounts with strong authentication. No online service is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as required.
10. Your rights
Wherever you are, you may ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used; correct anything inaccurate or incomplete; stop sending you marketing; or delete your data where we have no continuing need or legal obligation to keep it.
If the GDPR applies to you, you additionally have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Our quiz produces a readiness score, but it is advisory content — it does not decide anything about you.
To exercise any right, write to support@fractionalacademy.asia. We will respond within 30 days and will ask you to verify your identity first. There is normally no charge.
11. Cookies and tracking
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to make it work and, where you consent, analytics and advertising cookies that tell us which content and advertisements bring people to the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking the necessary ones may stop parts of the site working. Where we run advertising measurement, we may share a hashed, non-reversible version of your email address with the advertising platform to measure whether an advertisement led to an enquiry.
12. Children
The programme is for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, tell us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the current version and its date are always on this page. Material changes will be notified by email to members and subscribers.
14. Complaints
Please raise any concern with us first at support@fractionalacademy.asia. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore or, if the GDPR applies to you, to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or your local supervisory authority.
