Refund Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. The short version
Enrol, start the programme, and if within 7 days you conclude it is not for you, write to us and we will refund you in full — provided you have not consumed the substance of the course in the meantime.
2. What "in the meantime" means
A refund is available if, at the moment you request it:
- no more than 7 days have passed since your enrolment; and
- you have completed no more than 20% of the lessons in the course you purchased; and
- no certificate of completion has been issued to you.
Lesson completion is recorded automatically by our learning platform, and the record at the time of your request is what determines eligibility. These conditions exist because the entire programme can be watched in a couple of evenings, and a course that can be consumed in full and then returned is not a course anyone can sustainably run.
3. How to request one
Email support@fractionalacademy.asia from the address you enrolled with, with the word "Refund" in the subject line. You do not have to give a reason, though we would value one. We will confirm within 3 business days and, where the request qualifies, process the refund within 10 business days to the original payment method. Your bank may take a further few days to show it.
4. What happens to your access
Access to the programme, downloads and community ends when a refund is issued, and the licence granted in the Terms of Service ends with it. Materials already downloaded must not be used or retained.
5. What is not refundable
- Requests made after the 7-day window.
- Enrolments where more than 20% of lessons have been completed, or a certificate has been issued.
- Corporate seats that have been activated by the named individual, unless agreed in writing at the time of purchase. Unactivated seats within the same 7-day window are refundable.
- Any purchase where we reasonably determine the materials have been copied, shared or redistributed.
6. If you are a consumer in the European Union
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because the programme is digital content delivered immediately, you will be asked at checkout to confirm that you want access straight away and that you understand you lose the statutory right of withdrawal once delivery begins. Our own 7-day policy above is offered voluntarily in addition, on the conditions stated, and does not reduce any right you retain if that confirmation was not obtained.
7. Payment problems and chargebacks
If something has gone wrong with a payment, please contact us before raising a chargeback — it is faster, and we will always look at a genuine problem. We reserve the right to withdraw access where a chargeback is raised in respect of a programme that has been substantially consumed.
8. Exceptional circumstances
Serious illness, bereavement or a comparable event: write to us. We would rather pause your access, extend it, or make an exception than hold you to a policy in a situation it was never written for.
